Kids and teens will be ‘stoked’ with skate beginner sessions hosted by Stoke Skateboarding in the pop up Skate Pit complete with skate ramps and vibrant street art.
They will also have the opportunity to meet their skate heroes and win awesome prizes in free skating sessions held after the daily workshops.
Stoke Skateboarding beginner sessions are for 5 to 14 year olds keen to learn the basics of skateboarding, from taking their very first push, to kick turning and carving.
Whether they want to build the confidence and technique to drop in on a mini ramp, or need the mystery of the ‘Ollie’ unravelled – Indooroopilly Shopping Centre’s Summer Skate sessions provide all the equipment to learn the sport.

Located on Level 3, near Myer
Plus, on Saturday 14 January between 10am – 3pm 15 of South-East Queensland’s best skateboarders will battle it out in a game of S.K.A.T.E to win $1,000 prize money.
Throughout the day children are invite to watch the competition and grab a selfie with their favourite skate hero.
Tickets for the workshop can be reserved from 2 January.
Only one ticket per child for the workshop can be secured for the period of the promotion.
