This Summer Marcs will be celebrating creative Australians living ‘three shades brighter’ in New York City. These four new creative spirits will showcase the youthful dreamers, thinkers and creators whose talents are helping to shape an inspiring creative future.
“At Marcs we have always been inspired by the colour, creativity and energy of Australia. It is fabulous for us to be celebrating and collaborating with some of Australia’s emerging creative talents who are inspired by the very same things” said Rachel Allen, Creative Director of Marcs.
The independent spirits behind the future of Australian fashion include Angus McIntosh, David Genat, Stevie Dance and Whitney Gilmore.
Angus McIntosh was born and raised in Sydney. He is the Co-Founder of Ennis McIntosh, a design studio which specialises in designing retail space and furniture. Their work draws inspiration from New York, juxtaposing with environment using salvage wood and a rustic aesthetic.
David Genat is a model who loves to travel the world. He is an avid vintage motorcycle collector and restorer.
Stevie Dance is stylist to the stars, Fashion Director of POP and creator of magazine Shop Ghost. The former editor of RUSSH has lived between Australia and the US her whole life.
