To help you get started on the right foot your favourite Indro health stores have shared their top healthy meal prep tips and tricks.

Tip No. 1 from Naked Foods – Work in healthy snacks

Stop snacking on those office lunchroom cookies and get prepped with a healthy snack jar for your work desk. Include ingredients such as;

Nuts – Start with a good base by adding different nuts; almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios or peanuts for a nutritious snack to keep you going.

Dried Fruits – Put a stop to those sugar cravings by adding your favourite dried fruits; blueberries, cranberries, banana chips and more.

Seeds – Make it interesting with a little crunch by adding different seeds; sunflower, flax seeds, or pumpkin seeds.

Make it your own – Add coconut flakes or spices to add your own personal touch.

Be Prepared – Prep yourself with the right supplies to fit your requirements.

A stainless-steel lunch container is totally spill proof, easy to clean and has optional dividers to keep your food separate.

Reusable food and sandwich wraps are great for an easy way to wrap your sandwiches but also means that you will save money on cling wrap.

Make a small change – Swap out the plastic cutlery and paper napkin for bamboo cutlery and a linen washable napkin.

Seek alternative options – Use a jar to store yogurts, salad dressings, and fresh fruit, then simply wash and re-use.

In produce as in love, timing matters. Make sure you’re buying what is in season, because what’s in season will always taste better.
